The Baldwin Traditional Deadbolt, model #8231.112 in Venetian Bronze, is a metal bolt that slides from the door into the frame, preventing the door from opening. This security feature is ideal for exterior doors. The deadbolt has a single cylinder, an adjustable latch for 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" backsets, and fits doors up to 1-3/4" thick. The 1" throw bolt features a hardened steel insert for added security, and the 5-pin cylinder provides an extra layer of protection.
